Pinch harmonics - Electric guitar lesson

This is a really cool effect to add to your playing but it's also a little hard. Here it's important to remember that it might take some time before you get the sound right. When I learned this I struggeled in the beginning but I kept on playing and suddenly i got it right.

You might want to add some distortion. That will make it much easier :)

How to play basic finger picking - Acoustic Guitar Lesson

This is definately one of the most useful lessons I've found so far. Unfortunately I had to learn all of this by myself and spend a lot of time to make it work.
This is a lesson for how to play basic finger picking. Once you know these basics you will also be able to improvise and turn chords into finger picking easily. You'll be able to impress your friends once you know how to do that ;)

Even though I knew most of this I just had to watch it. I hope you'll enjoy this lesson as much as I did!

Barre Chords - Lesson for beginners

Barre chords are chords where you use one of your fingers to hold more than one string on a fret. It's not that easy to explain without a video but the two videos I used when I learned this will explain very much. There's one video showing on acoustic guitar and one on electric guitar. It's smart to watch them both.

Acoustic:

Electric:

Barre chords is definately something worth learning and it's not that hard to learn. Just remember that everything will take some time in the beginning but pay off in the end ;)

Good Luck!

Tapping for beginners

Tapping is a well known technique that sounds really cool and it's not actually that hard. When I first started to learn tapping on electric guitar I used the two lessons below. The first one turned out beeing the most informative lesson but the second one was also good, though it's a little short.

Now when you have seen these videos I should add that this technique is easy when you're used to it but in the beginning it can be hard. Try adding some distortion and reverb/delay. It will make it much easier.

And remember it might take some days but sooner or later you will make it! Don't give up!

Good luck!
